- In versions prior to 13.1 you can change accounting dates in the Change Entries window, however the entries created do not change the original entries and the new entries net to zero for the "corrected" accounting date.
- In 13.1 and above, the accounting date field in change entries has been disabled and no changes are permitted to the accounting date.
- To change accounting dates for Job Cost entries, use Tasks, Enter Direct Costs in Job Cost. You can create reversing entries using the original accounting date and then create a new entry for the new accounting date.
- You should always correct entries from interfacing applications in the application of origin.
