| | How to print journals and registers to PDF files with Paperless Office |
| Resolution | Enable Electronic Delivery and PDF Storage - Expand Modules, Paperless Office, and Setup.
- Double-click Paperless Office Options.
- Select the Journals and Registers check box under Enable Electronic Delivery and PDF Storage.
Set Up Journal and Register Maintenance - In Setup, double-click Journal and Register Maintenance.
- Select a company code or All Companies.
- Select a module code or All Modules.
- Select a document or All Documents.
- Click the Browse Directory button and choose the folder for storing PDF files.
- Ensure the path is on the same server as Sage 100 ERP.
Configure PDF Creation and Security - Select an option from the Auto Create PDF list:
- Yes: Always print to PDF.
- No: Always print to hard copy.
- Prompt: Choose each time.
- Select Password Protect options: Prompt, Yes, or No.
- This field is available only if you select Prompt or Yes in Auto Create PDF.
- Enter a password in the Password and Confirm Password
Add Associated Documents (Optional) - You can add Attachments to each journal/register.
- Specify a default directory for attachments.
- Change the location when printing if needed.
Print, Email, or Fax Documents - Expand Modules, Paperless Office, and Main.
- Double-click Journal and Register Viewer.
- Double-click a document to view it.
- Print, email, or fax the document.
NOTE: You can’t print to PDF and hard copy at the same time.
