Check the followings before installing your program:

• Turn ON your firewall software
• Turn ON firewall alerts
• If prompted by your firewall, read the dialog carefully and click Allow or Unblock safe files
• If the firewall prompts to allow more files, allow them as well

Users must have permission to update the program periodically as needed.

• Users must be local administrator to their PC
• When the user can access the Federal and State Efiling successfully, selects their form and click Accept. The program will communicate with the Aatrix website
• Aatrix will determine if the program needs an update and prompt to do an Automatic Update
• If the user doesn't retain the right to install programs, the installation will fail. This can also corrupt the Aatrix program

If you receive "vendor code is missing" error when attempting to install Automatic Updates, follow these steps:

• This error shows up when the user doesn't have admin rights on the computer

• Right-click the Sage 100 shortcut and choose "Run as Administrator." Enter admin login info when asked

• Open your tax form again and confirm that the update works

1. Set up your firewall to allow these files to run using HTTP on port 80 to access http://updates.aatrix.com

• AATRIXFORMS.EXE
• UPDATER.EXE
• UPDATER2.EXE

2. Set up firewall to allow password-protected encrypted zip files

3. Open the Control Panel, Internet Options. Under the Security tab, add https://sage100erp.aatrix.com as a trusted website

4. Open the Control Panel, Internet Options, under the Privacy tab, click Sites button and allow the following websites:

• aatrix.com
• aatrixforms.exe
• updater.exe
• updater2.exe

5. Open the Control Panel, Internet Options. Under the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Security section and select the followings:

• TLS 1.0
• TLS 1.1
• TLS 1.2

6. For eFiling and web service connections, allow the following sites and files to run using secure HTTP on port 443 and 80:

• https://efile.aatrix.com
• https://efileserver.aatrix.com
• https://efilereceiver.aatrix.com
• https://w2status.aatrix.com
• BUILDER.EXE
• VIEWER.EXE
• SECUREEFILECLIENT.EXE
• SKYCLIENT.EXE

 NOTE: Sometimes firewalls have restrictions and only allow access on these ports to specific domains. By allowing access to aatrix.com, you'll allow updates, eFiling, and the web services. Occasionally, the restrictions are even tighter and only allow access to these ports by specific programs. 

1. Disable UAC for Aatrix to work properly.
2. Uninstall Sage 100 Workstation.
3. If Advanced or Premium, note the Server Name and Port number.
4. Uninstall Federal and State Tax Reporting (aka Federal and State Efiling).
5. Remove C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components directory.
6. Remove C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Aatrix directory.
7. From Windows Explorer:
   • Click View, then Options
   • Under the View tab, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives
   • Click OK
8. Remove C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Local\Aatrix Software folder.
9. Remove C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Aatrix Software folder.
10. Browse to C:\Windows\SYSWOW64, delete pvxio.dll, pvxodbc.dll and pvxsec32.dll.
11. Install Workstation via ..\..\MAS90\Wksetup\Sage Workstation ... msi file.
12. Install Federal and State Tax Reporting via ..\..\MAS90\Wksetup\Autorun.exe (right click and select Run As Administrator).
13. Click: https://partner.aatrix.com/sage-100-erp/

     

    • Select Sage 100 under Product updates
    • This will download the current MAS90.exe update file
    • In your downloads folder, right-click on MAS90.exe and run as Administrator
    • Select Yes when seeing This setup will perform an upgrade of 'Federal and State Tax Reporting' message
    • Click Next, then Finish
14. Test when completed.
