How do I archive data in Service Management?
Description

An issue with the Service Management archive wizard in Sage 300 CRE versions 18.1 and above may prevent ability to archive work orders as outlined in this article.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Backup your data files.
  2. Start Service Management.
  3. From the Tools menu, select Archive Wizard.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Have all operators close Service Management, and click Next.
  6. Select the Current to History button or History to Current depending on the direction the workorders are being moved.
  7. In the Set Criteria window, select the appropriate criteria to include the workorders that need to be moved.
  8. Click Start to move the workorders.
  9. Click Finish.

Note: Archiving work orders will also archive the invoices associated with the workers.
