  • Ready to Convert: This status indicates that the database is ready to convert to the latest version
  • Incompatible Version: This status indicates that the database can’t be converted because it hasn’t been converted for two or more schema changes. See Database conversion status: Incompatible Version
  • Can’t Open: This status indicates that the database can’t be connected to for on of the following reasons:
    • The database may have been moved and the system can’t locate it
    • The database or log files may be corrupt
    • The System account does not have full control of the share
    • The pathing convention used to connect to the database in the Database List Manager is different than what is used to connect to the BESTSYS.DB
    • For Premier edition only: The WINFAS user doesn’t have DB_Owner rights to the Asset database
  • Incompatible Product:
    • This status indicates that the database is either for Depreciation when in Planning or Planning when in Depreciation
