Resolution

Section I: Incorrect Permissions

Follow Article ID 10211: DocLink: Verify my data file permissions are correctly set

Section II: UAC enabled

Option I: Disable UAC

Follow Article ID 10198: DocLink: How to disable User Account Control (UAC)
Verify that the program will now open

Option II: Run the program as Administrator

Right-click the Sage 50—U.S. Edition icon on the desktop, and then select Properties
Click the Compatibility tab, and then select Run as administrator
Click OK
Verify that the program will now open
