Resolution | Contact Sage Customer Support using the Chat with Support link below to receive your product code.
If upgrading from an earlier version - You should not see a prompt for a product code
- If prompted for a product code, you may be installing the client and not the server, or the installation on the server may have been performed by a different user than the original installation
If you have the program installed on a network - You must install downloads and upgrades directly on the server
- If you are at a workstation, stop and start the installation at the server
Migrating to a new server or installing and reinstalling on the same computer - Selecting 'Network' installation will prompt you to enter the product code
- There are only two product codes WG for Workgroup and CS for Client Server
- To determine the product code use on the old server, go to the old server and go to Utilities, Registration Information, Network Registration. In the bottom left, if it shows “NT Server” the product code is CS. If it shows “Workgroup” the product code is WG.
- It is critical you enter the correct product code, failure to enter the correct product code may result in only one user being able to enter the program at a time
