Update main account information (main account is the first segment only)

Access main account maintenance

• Open General Ledger, Setup, and then select Main Account Maintenance.
• Click the Main Account lookup button, and select the account to modify.

Modify account fields

• Update the required field or fields.
• Note: You can apply changes to the Short Description field, but not to the Description field.
• Note: The Description field in the Apply Changes window refers to the Short Description field.

Apply changes

• Click Apply, and confirm the prompt asking to save changes.
• In the Apply Changes window, review the available fields.
• Select the Apply checkbox for fields marked as modified.
• Select Proceed to apply the changes.

   

   

   

   

  NOTE:

  • The Modified checkbox automatically selects fields that support applied changes.
  • Not all fields support the apply function. Click Apply to view eligible fields.

   

Update sub account information (sub account setup is all other segments)

Access sub account maintenance

• Open General Ledger, Setup, and then select Sub Account Maintenance.
• Select the segment from the Segment dropdown list.
• Click the Sub Account lookup button, and select the sub account to modify.

Modify account fields

• Update the required fields.
• You can apply changes to the Short Description field, but not to the Description field.

Apply changes

• Click Apply, and confirm the save changes prompt.
• In the Apply Changes window, review modified fields.
• Select the Apply checkbox for each applicable field.
• Select Proceed to finalize the updates.
