Installing and launching Sage Advisor Update - Install and run Sage Advisor Update only on the license server.
- Open Sage Advisor Update on the license server by clicking Start, All Programs, Sage 100 Contractor SQL, Sage Advisor Update.
NOTE: You can also open it by double-clicking the Sage Advisor Update icon in the Windows system tray. - Select the Download & Install or Download Only option under Manage Updates.
- Check the box next to the product name to enable updates.
- Install the latest version available.
NOTE: Go to Home & Resources, Sage Messaging, Preferences, in Sage 100 Contractor, to include New Release/Product Updates in messages. Sage Advisor Update Features With Sage Advisor Update, you can: - Manually check for available updates for your Sage products.
- Set update preferences, including how often and what time of day to check for updates.
- Choose a download location on your computer for storing update files.
- Enable email notifications to receive alerts when new updates are available.

- Monitor the status of your Sage Business Care plan to ensure your coverage is current.
