Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (CRE) company folders are a collection of interrelated files in a specific structure. It is required to backup the entire folder to preserve file structure and backup appropriate files. 

Make a copy of the entire company folder to backup your data using Windows Explorer:

1. Have all users exit Sage 300 CRE
2. Refer to Related Resources for instructions to use the Pervasive Software Monitor utility and verify that no files are currently open.
3. In Windows Explorer, browse to the company folder.
4. Right-click on the company folder, and select Copy.
5. Browse to a location where you would like your backup to reside. 
6. Right-click in that location and select Paste.
