| Troubleshooting Crystal Reports in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate |

STEP 1: Verify Crystal Reports Runtime Print Preview is functioning:
- Launch Address Book.
- From the Address Book Reports menu, select Lists, Company Directory (CR).
- Click Print Preview.
- If the report previews successfully, click Close and continue to the next section.
- If the report errors, then reinstall the Crystal Reports Components; see article 20915 "How do I reinstall Crystal Reports components?"
STEP 2: Verify Crystal Reports Runtime Print is functioning:
- From the Address Book Reports menu, select Lists, Company Directory (CR).
- Click Printer setup.
- Select the Print to file check box and click Select file.
- Select your Desktop and enter a File name for the file.
- Click Save, then OK, then Start.
- Review the Background Tasks window for any error messages.
- If the Background Tasks window displays Completed normally, verify that you can open the PDF document saved in Step 4.
- If you are unable to open the PDF document, or if no PDF document is created, see article 62207 "Error: Report Operation Failed (Reinstall Crystal Runtime)"
If the tests above are successful, the Crystal Reports runtime engine is functioning properly.
