You may be able to access and correct the Data Folder path by opening the software to another company, then switching company folders to the problem folder, then opening File Locations.
WARNING: Once File Locations are set and used in production (with or without a location specified in the Data Folder field), do not change these settings without working with a Sage 300 CRE Consultant as it could result in loss of data. See article 35405 DocLink: How do I change an existing file location? for warnings and considerations before changing File Locations.
But if the Data Folder path causing the error is for a file belonging to an application you no longer have entitlement to, then you will not be able to see the path in the File Locations window.
You will need to use an ODBC DSN connection for the Timberline Data driver (set to use Standard Descriptions) with Microsoft Excel to view the CTL_TS_FILELOCATIONS table and view the Data_Path values.
If an incorrect value is identified and is not accessible in the File Locations window (Desktop, Common Tasks, File, Company Settings, File Locations), contact Sage 300 CRE Customer Support to request a file fix.
