Sage Paperless Construction Folder watch is not working

Cause
Resolution

Confirm setup and restart the Job Poll service.

  1. Verify the Folder Watch setup. See How do I set up a Folder Watch in Sage Paperless Construction? for more information.
  2. Review Logs for errors and address any errors displayed:
    1. If Error Options for the import Job is set to Log look at Import Monitor.
    2. Review the Job Poll error log (Administration Job Poll, View Log, for the PEImport job).
  3. Verify that the correct Windows permissions are set up. See Sage Paperless Construction: Required Windows Permissions.
  4. Restart the Job Poll Service.
    1. From the SPC Server, start SPC Server Dashboard.
    2. Click on the Poll tab.
    3. Select Stop.
    4. Once the service has stopped, click Start.
  5. Manually run the Import job poll.
    1. Start Sage Paperless Construction
    2. Login as a user with admin rights.
    3. Select Administration and navigate to Job Poll.
    4. All jobs will be listed. Select the PEImporter job.
    5. Click Edit and confirm the following, then click OK.
      • Active is selected
      • Log Scheduling is selected
    6. Click Run Now (located further down the screen).
    7. Review the Log Viewer to watch for the task to be added to the queue and complete. If any errors review the error to see what is causing the failure.
