Is there a way to merge records or companies?

Merging records or companies in Sage 50 Accounting.

• Currently, there isn’t a way to merge two companies into one in Sage 50.
• You can consolidate multiple companies for financial reporting.
• Sage 50 also allows you to merge multiple companies for W-2 printing.
• There's only one type of record in Sage 50 that you can merge, duplicate employee records. The W-2 wizard allows you to combine them during W-2 processing.

You can't merge customer or vendor records. You can, however, make one record inactive, delete transactions under the old record, and re-enter them under the new record.
