Configure Paperless Office Output Options for Forms for customer or vendor forms

Summary

How to set Paperless Office output options in Sage 100 to print, email, fax, or save customer and vendor forms as PDFs.

Resolution

If Paperless Office doesn’t email customer or vendor forms and no error appears, check the Paperless Customer/Vendor Viewer.

Make sure PDF Exists = Y and Sent = Y.

If PDF Exists = N, select a Paperless Office Output option like Print/PDF and Electronic Delivery when printing.

If Sent = N:

  • Confirm the customer or vendor has an email address, or Paperless settings use “email in data entry.”
  • Ensure to select E-mail option in the Electronic Delivery for Forms window.

To email, fax, or store a form as a PDF:

  1. In the form printing window, enter form selection details in the required fields.
  2. In Paperless Office Output, select an option for printing, saving, or electronic delivery.
  3. If you want electronic delivery, click Electronic Delivery next to Paperless Office Output.
  4. In Electronic Delivery for Forms, select E-mail and/or Fax check boxes.
  5. Choose Use E-mail Message or Use Fax Message to apply predefined text. You can also clear them and enter a subject line.
  6. Enter sender information for e-mails and faxes.
  7. Click Test E-mail or Test Fax to send a test message.
  8. Click OK, then click Print in the form printing task.
  9. If you choose an electronic delivery option, click the Electronic Delivery button next to Paperless Office Output.

Below are the Paperless Office Output Options:

 NOTE: Print becomes active when you select email or fax and enter a sender address. Set the default sender in Paperless Office Options or Company Maintenance.
