The user doesn’t have permissionThe user doesn’t have permission to access the report or inquiry or issue. By default, limited users don’t have access to new menu items. Custom reports not migrated to new server correctlyIf you have recently migrated servers, your customization may not have transferred correctly. See steps to resolve after migrating. Report directory moved in File Locations - Custom menus: Stored in the report directory under XXuser.mnu files ("XX" is the abbreviation of the application)
- Default Report folder: Stored under C:\ProgramData\SAGE\TIMBERLINE OFFICE\9.5\ACCOUNTING\Report
- Alternate Report folder: Verify path in Applications, Common Tasks, File, Company Settings, File Locations
- Have all users exit Sage 300 CRE.
- Make a backup of the default Report folder.
- Copy the XXuser.mnu files from the alternate report folder specified in File Locations.
- Log in to Sage 300 CRE as an application administrator and check the Report menus.
- If the Report menus look correct, continue. If not, restore the XXuser.mnu files from the backup.
- If your custom reports don’t show in Security Administration, see steps to update Security Administration.
Report limit exceededThe user has exceeded the limit of reports available to view on the menu list. The limit for the total number of reports is 999. The limit is a combination of reports, users, roles, companies. Remove a report on any report menu that you don't use. For example, if you don't do union payroll, remove a union report from the PR menu. This only removes it from the menu and you can add it back if needed. - Open an application.
- Open Report Manager from the Report menu.
- Highlight the report you'll remove.
- Click Delete on the tight.
- Click Yes to confirm. If the incorrect report displays in the message, click No or Cancel.
