Tip: The DSN you use to create the report must exist on all workstations that will generate or print the report.

  • Set up an ODBC data source name (DSN) in standard description mode. For information on how to create a DSN, select the link below.
  • In Crystal Reports, create the report with the DSN that you set up.
  • In Crystal Reports, add a @tsDesignMode formula with a value of "SDesc" to the report. For more information about the tsDesignMode formula, select the link below.
