Back up your data and identify your version

1. Back up your data.
2. Identify the version you're running.
3. Follow the path below, depending on your version.

Upgrading from version 20.1 and later

• Follow the process for upgrading the software and company data.

Upgrading from version 19.8

1. Download and install the latest version.
2. Migrate company data.
3. Update your workstations to the latest version.

Upgrade process for 19.7 and earlier

1. Upgrade to version 19.8 first.
2. Reindex your company databases.
3. Download and install the latest version.
4. Migrate company data from version 19.8.
5. Update your workstations to the latest version.

 NOTE: For version 18.3 or earlier, contact our Sage Expert Services for assistance with the upgrade. If you're a Sage Business Partner, upgrading Sage 100 Contractor version 17.1 or earlier, contact support before proceeding.
