Cause

Possible causes

  • The account ranges on the Financial Statement design are including or excluding accounts incorrectly
  • An account has an incorrect account type
  • You’re using a consolidated prefix group and it’s missing a prefix
  • You’re using a consolidated prefix group and not all the prefixes are in the same period
  • The base account type and the full account type don’t match
  • General Ledger is out of balance
  • Prior year adjustments haven’t been closed
Resolution
  1. Verify that the Year-to-date Ledger is in balance.
  2. Verify that the financial statement includes all accounts.
  3. Add the missing prefixes to the prefix group.
  4. Correct the account type on the problem accounts.
  5. Close periods to have consolidated prefixes in the same current period.
