- 300CRE is only compatible with the 32bit version of Microsoft Office. Install the 32bit version of Microsoft Office prior to installing the Sage 300CRE Accounting Client.
- Navigate to the installer on the server using the UNC path (\\[SERVERNAME]\Timberline Office) for the application to install correctly. Using mapped drives or IP addresses results in incomplete installations.
- After restarting during the installation, log in to the workstation under the same account you installed with to ensure the installation is complete.
- Even if you log into the client workstation with an Administrator account, right click and run as administrator to ensure all registry entries and dependency paths create.
- If possible, disable your antivirus software. If the initial installation fails, you will need to disable your antivirus and reinstall the client.
CLIENT INSTALL - From the client’s computer, log in as an Administrator.
- Open File Explorer.
- Navigate to \\[SERVERNAME]\Timberline Office.
- Right-click Sage300CRE ACCT Client Install. Select Run as administrator.
- If the Sage300CRE ACCT Client Install Shortcut isn’t available in the Timberline Office folder, navigate to \\[SERVERNAME]\Timberline Office\9.5\ACCOUNTING\WinInst.
- Right click on Install.exe.
- Select Run as administrator.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
- When the workstation restarts, log back in with the account used to install the client to ensure a complete installation.
ADDITIONAL STEPS FOR TERMINAL\RDS\CITRIX SERVERS ONLY - Once the installation completes and the machine restarts, uninstall the Actian client engine.
- Install the Actian Server engine components located in \\[SERVERNAME]\Timberline Office\9.5\ACCOUNTING\WinInst\Prerequisites (Note: Right-click and select Run as Administrator)
- Pre PSQL Install\PrePSQLInstall.exe (Runs silently, you will not be able to see when it completes but you can monitor in Task Manager).
- Pervasive PSQL v12 SP1 Server Edition (x64)\SetupServer64_x64.exe
- Pervasive PSQL v12 Server Patch SP1 (x64)\PSQLv12Patch_Server64_x64.msp
- Post PSQL64 Install\PostPSQL64Install.exe (Runs silently, you will not be able to see when it completes but you can monitor in Task Manager).
- Pervasive License Monitoring Service\ PSQLLMInst (Runs silently, you will not be able to see when it completes but you can monitor in Task Manager).
- Go to services.msc (Windows Key+R and then type in services.msc), Sage Pervasive License Service L2 – highlight it and click start.
- Go to the Sage Administration folder off All Programs and do right-click run as admin on Sage System Verifier, scan, and make sure it completes without errors.
