Note: Sage Exchange Desktop (SED) 1.0 applies to Sage 100 2013 (5.00) through Sage 100 2014, possibly also Sage 100 2015 - all of which are retired. Sage Exchange Desktop is now Paya Connect Desktop. The information below is for archival purposes only.
Windows 7 and newer Operating Systems
- Right-click on the SE icon located on the bottom right of your monitor.
- Select Exit
- Go to the Start Menu
- Select Control Panel
- Open Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program
- Uninstall Sage Exchange (Once SE is uninstalled proceed to Step 7.)
- Go to the Start Menu
- Click on Computer
- Open up Local Disk (C:)
- Open up Users
- Open up the user’s folder (the user folder would be for the “user” that’s logged into that PC)
- To show Hidden Folders press the ALT key. Open Tools, Folder Options
- Click on the View tab
- Select the radio button for “Show hidden folders, files, and drives”.
- Open AppData\Local\ Apps\2.0 (ex... C:\Users\JohnDoe\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\)
- Delete both folders.
- Attempt to run a transaction through your Sage software. If your application
does not prompt you to install the Sage Exchange Desktop go to
www.sageexchange.com/install
Uninstalling and Reinstalling Module SDK
- Go to the Start Menu
- Select Control Panel
- Open Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program
- Locate Module SDK. Right click and select Uninstall.
- To reinstall, access the ..\MAS90\Wksetup\Prerequisites\SageExchange\setup.msi located where Sage 100 is installed on the server
- Right click and select Install
- Make sure to select All Users when prompted
Module SDK can also be downloaded and manually installed from www.sageexchange/install
