| Why are paid invoices showing as credits on reports in Accounts Payable? |
Cause | - The accounting date for the invoice transactions is after the cutoff date on the report and the accounting date for the payment transaction (check date or payment date) is on or before the cutoff date
- The accounting date of the invoice is after the date of the payment (or check)
- The Invoice Date is beyond the cutoff date on the report

Resolution | Verify the dates on the invoice then make corrections in Change Invoices as needed. - In Accounts Payable, from the Inquiry menu, select Other, AP Transactions.
- Select the master file and click OK.
- Select the Current file and click OK.
- Double-click on the vendor.
- Double-click on the invoice.
- Review the Accounting Date and Invoice Date on the transactions. Evaluate transaction types of Invoice and Reverse Invoice separately from the transaction types of Check, Reverse Check, Electronic, Rev Electronic, Credit Card, and Rev Credit Card.
