Resolution | The data path is the location where the program looks for the data. If the program is looking to an incorrect directory, there are a number of problems you could encounter. Therefore, it is very important to have a correct data path. - Locate your data. See Article ID 10199: DocLink: How to locate company directories
- Locate your data path. See Article ID 10165: DocLink: How to find data path and program path
- Compare the two directories. They should be the same with the exception of the company folder listed at the end of the data directory. For example, if your data directory is C:\Sage\Peachtree\Company\abc123, then the data path should be C:\Sage\Peachtree\Company.
Note: If you find the data path is incorrect, you can correct it in one of two ways.
