Resolution

The Payroll Tax Report shows the employee's gross pay, taxable (adjusted) gross, and the amount of tax for a specified type of payroll deduction: FICA, FUTA, MEDICARE, and so on. This report also shows employer payroll taxes: for example, state unemployment. Using the information printed on this form, you can prepare most (or all) state payroll tax returns.

  1. Go to Reports & Forms, Payroll.
  2. Select the Payroll Tax Report and click Options.
  3. Under Dates select the desired quarter-ending date (the report quarterly only).
  4. Under Tax ID, select the desired payroll tax.
  5. Click OK to preview the report.
