Follow the steps to install on an existing workstation 

If you prefer to follow step-by step guidance, use the steps below. 

  1. Right-click on the existing Sage BusinessWorks icon on the desktop.
  2. Select Open File Location.
  3. Double-click Client Setup Folder.
  4. Double-click Autorun.exe. 
  5. When the install is complete, install the most current service pack.

Follow the steps to install on a new workstation 

If you prefer to follow step-by step guidance, use the steps below. 

  1. Log on as a user with local administrator rights to the workstation.
  2. In Windows Explorer, browse to the ..Sage\BWProg\Client Setup\ folder on the server.
  3. Double-click Autorun.exe.
  4. Follow the wizard steps to install Sage BusinessWorks. Verify the UNC paths points to the server's \BWProg\ and \BWData\ folders.
  5. When the install is complete, install the most current service pack.

 NOTE: If prompted for a user login, enter the local administrator account to the Windows server where you have installed Sage BusinessWorks.
