How to add missing accounts to Sage 300 CRE financial statements that are out of balance. These steps apply to balance sheets, trial balances and other statement designs.
Cause
Accounts are missing from the account ranges in the design.
Resolution
- If a financial statement is out of balance, start by checking if General Ledger is out of balance.
- If General Ledger is in balance:
- You're using the default financial statements or custom designs, add new accounts to a financial statement design.
NOTE: Go to Reports, Financial Statements and confirm if the Description on the statement says "Default". If it doesn't, then you have custom statements. - You're using the default financial statement designs (not customized), refresh the range of accounts or accumulators.
