CAUTION: This solution requires advanced knowledge of Windows security and network settings. Sage isn't responsible for any issues that arise from changes to these settings. Ensure you back up all system and application databases necessary for a complete restoration. It's advisable to contact a certified consultant or your system administrator for assistance. Run Sage 50 as Administrator
- Right-click the Sage 50 icon and click Properties.
- Click the Compatibility Tab.
- Check Run as Administrator.
- Verify the program and the company open and that you can complete tasks.
Clear DDF files and reinstall Actian
- Locate your company directory.
- Close Sage 50—U.S. Edition.
- Browse to your data path; see How to find the data path and program path.
- In the company directory, remove any file with a file type of DDF.
- Completely remove and reinstall Actian.
- Verify the program and the company can open that you can complete tasks.
