The database engine is damaged - Uninstall the database engine on the computer receiving the error.
- Reinstall Sage BusinessWorks from the original installation medium.
Damaged ODBC DSN driver or pointing to the wrong server -
- Remove all DSNs related to Sage BusinessWorks.
- Create all DSNs related to Sage BusinessWorks.
Verify user has sufficient rights in Windows -
- In Windows, assign local administrative rights to the user.
- Give the C:\Windows folder full control permissions to the local administrator group and the system group.
Verify user rights in the Windows registry -
- On the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- Type Regedt32 and click OK. to open Registry Editor.
- Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, SOFTWARE, then ODBC.
- In the ODBC key, assign full control rights to the local administrator group and the system group.
Ensure each Terminal Server user has installed the Client setup Each user accessing the Sage BusinessWorks program in a Remote or Terminal Server session, must install the Client setup while logged into a session. [BCB:163:Chat BusinessWorks US:ECB]
