High Security Suggestions - If you can't add a port, a group policy or logon script is blocking local resource access.
- Open Start, then select Devices and Printers.
- Right-click Sage 100 PDF Converter, go to Printer Properties.
- On the Ports tab, click Add Port, highlight Local Port, and click New Port.
- Name the port (for example, Sage, Sage1, or Hello), click OK.
- Test Paperless Office printing.
If you get Error 15 or saving to C:\ is restricted - Ask IT whether they scripted a mapped drive for server storage. If yes, use that drive letter instead of C.
- Or, create a folder on C:\ called sagePDF and give ‘everyone’ full permission. Set the local port to C:\sagePDF\Sage.
- Test Paperless Office printing.
Security Note - The Everyone group has Read access by default when sharing folders in Windows. Don’t modify this access level, as it can be a security risk.
- Regularly audit users with access to Sage product data. Remove access for users who no longer need it.
