Delete or reset Custom Office panel customization in Sage 100

Cause
Resolution

Prepare for customization changes

  • Ask all users to log out of Sage 100.
  • Open Modules, Custom Office, Main menu, then Customizer Selection.
  • Open Customized Panels, then select the module and task window.
    • Example: Sales Order, Sales Order Entry

Select the customization scope

  • Choose the User or Group and Company combination.
    • Example: User JIM, All companies
    • Example: All users, ABX company
    • Example: All users, ABC company

Delete a main panel customization

Delete the panel

  • Select the main panel, such as DMAIN or DMAINW.
  • Click the Delete Panel button, marked with a red X.
  • Click Yes to confirm deletion.
  • Click Close to exit Customizer Selection.
Note: Deleting a main panel removes all associated sub-panels.

Reset a panel or sub-panel

Open the panel editor

  • Select the panel or sub-panel, such as PMAIN.
  • Click the Edit Panel button.

Reset panel settings

  • On the Customizer toolbar, select Panel, Header.
  • In the Panel Header Definition window, click Reset.

Choose reset option

  • Select one of the following:
    • Reset only header settings to Sage defaults
    • Reset all settings for the panel to Sage defaults

Save changes

  • Click OK in the Reset Panel window.
  • Click OK again if prompted.
  • Click OK if a size change message appears.
  • Click Save on the toolbar.
  • Click OK to confirm save.
  • Click Exit, then Close Customizer Selection.

Important considerations

NOTE:

This feature requires the Custom Office module, also called Customizer. Not all Sage 100 installations include it.

NOTE:

You can't delete individual sub-panels. You can only reset them.
