How do I remove negative invoices from the Accounts Receivable aging reports?
Description

What are the implications of negative invoices in Accounts Receivable? Can I use an existing payment to clear a negative invoice?

Sage doesn't recommend that you enter negative invoices in Billing or Accounts Receivable. Instead, enter an adjustment to an invoice that credits the invoice balance. Adjustments allow for retainage balances to credit correctly and for aging reports to show the correct information. If you unapply a cash receipt applied to a negative invoice, open cash receipt amounts can adjust incorrectly. You can only correct this issue with a chargeable file fix.

If you choose to enter negative invoices instead of entering an adjustment, there are multiple options for clearing negative invoices. To adjust the invoice, follow the steps below.
