  1. Have you purchased and installed the full version of MS SQL Server?
    • If yes, check the Do not install SQL Server Express check box when on the Install Prerequisites screen during the Server Setup.
  2. Is the server a Domain Controller?
  3. Permanently deactivate Windows User Access Control (UAC).
  4. Deactivate Windows / other firewall running on that machine.
  5. Add exceptions to your anti-virus software for MyAssistant.exe, ISDAdminService.exe and MyAssistantConfigurationManager.exe.
  6. Obtain Customer number and MyAssistant Server Product Key.
  7. List of companies that should be monitored by MyAssistant.
  8. Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate username and password.
    • The Sage 300 CRE operator ID is the ID that MyAssistant will use to access the Timberline database when Tasks are run.
    • It is recommended that the password associated with the entered Sage 300 CRE operator ID does not expire.
    • Leave this blank if Sage 300 CRE Security is not activated.
  9. Email account that MyAssistant will use the send notification email messages.
    • Name or IP address of the outgoing mail server (SMTP Connection).
    • User name and password for the email account.
    • Email port if different than 25.
  10. Proxy server user name and password (if proxy server is used).
