How to install in an Application/Remote Desktop (Terminal) Server environment

 NOTE: Due to changes with the program it is recommended that your antivirus software be disabled during the installation of Sage.

This installation environment is for when the Sage BusinessWorks program and data reside on a server that is accessed through a separate Remote Desktop (Terminal) server

  1. On the application server,  download the product
  2. Install Sage BusinessWorks using the appropriate instructions below:
  3. On the Remote Desktop server, download the product and install only the Actian Zen/Pervasive server engine
  4. Download and install the current service pack for your version (if available)
  5. Login to a Remote Desktop session as an administrator and install the client
  6. Login to any additional user sessions and install BWProfile
