Note: The download of Sage 50 Fixed Assets version 2025.1 is a full version of the program. Note: For new installation of the Sage Fixed Assets program. See Download Sage 50 Fixed Assets 2025.1 for the product download. Note: There are prerequisites required for Sage Fixed Assets to run properly: Note: For in place updates, you must perform a Database Conversion for all versions of the program 2024.1 and prior. If not updating from 2024.1 see the Updating from older versions section for update paths. Updating from 2024.1 through the Sage Advisor Update: The Sage Advisor Update will have a notification of the 2025.1 release via a pop-up message in the Microsoft Windows system tray. To check manually: - Click Sage Advisor Update in the system tray or go to Start, All Programs, Sage. Open Sage Advisor Update.
- If you don't see the 2025.1 listed, click Check for Updates. It will list the available updates.
- Check the box beside the Sage Fixed Assets product listed and click Download & Install or Download Only.
- Download & Install: Downloads the update and starts the Installation process once the download completes:
- Click Next, then Yes and Yes to uninstall the prior version,. Wait for the install to process to complete. Click Finish once completed
- Download only: Later, you can either open the Sage Advisor Update and click the Download & Install button to start the installation. Alternatively, browse to C:\Sage Advisor Update\Sage.US.SBS.SFA.FA50 and right-click the setup.exe. Select Run as administrator to start the installation:
- Click Next, then Yes and Yes to uninstall the prior version. Wait for the install to process to complete. Click Finish once complete
Sage Fixed Assets - Database Conversion: Note: Opening Sage 50 Fixed Assets for the first time automatically launches the in-place conversion. The system converts the last accessed database when it opens. The In-place conversion will launch automatically when attempting to open the last database touched and convert the database. If there’s only a single database, no further steps are required If there are several databases you need to convert, use the Conversion Utility for Single User and Lite Editions. See How do I convert data? for details. Updating from older versions Note: You can find product downloads for the currently supported versions of Sage Fixed Assets on the Download portal. See Sage Fixed Assets: Download Portal CAUTION: If you update from 2022.1 or prior without following the correct update path, you won't be able to convert your databases. They’ll appear with a Conversion Status of Incompatible Version and will require a Sage Expert Services engagement to update. See How do I contact Sage Expert Services? for details. When updating from versions 2023.1 and prior, the update paths are: - If updating from 2024.0, you can either:
- Uninstall the existing version, install 2025.1 and convert the databases.
- Or first update to 2024.1 (See How to update to Sage 50 Fixed Assets 2024.1 for details) and convert the databases. Then update to 2025.1 and convert the databases
- If updating from 2023.1:
- If updating from 2023.0:
- Uninstall the existing version, install 2024.1 and convert the databases, then update to 2025.1 and convert the databases
- If updating from 2012.0 – 2022.1: You can't convert the databases directly to 2025.1. Migrate to new databases: How to migrate Sage Fixed Assets Single User products for more information. Company Backups (.BBK) files created in prior versions back to 2012.0 will restore directly into the 2025.1 product on a new system.
